The main purpose for a commercial website, is to persuade the viewer on the chosen website to become a customer or a paid member due to the brand or information you are educating them with, informing them with or entertaining them with. This can be completed through the organisation of your brand; where you position each tab and how easy things are to access, but it can also be completed through how trust-worthy your brand is; which is how experienced your website looks, how consistent the responses are from workers on the website and ratings on the website people have given so that new customers feel more safe.
B) Visitor needs
My website is going to fulfil the visitors needs in many different ways. Firstly, what do visitors actually see when they arrive to the website? My aim is for the visitor to see a home page of music and gaming videos. As if its a similar platform to YouTube. This will be completed through how easy it is to navigate yourself around the website but also the quality of what is being show.
C) Information flow
Information flow is mostly how the information is found and shared. Usually people find the information through other people on social media. For example, dexerto.com is a website where 5-10 people for each game will write an article about a certain topic. This can be about a famous celebrity saying or doing something unusual that people may like to know about, or it could simply be the latest in game update.
D) Features
Websites have many different features, certain features will make a website better than another. The main features on websites that are common are; Quality web content, Clear user-friendly navigation, simple and professional web design, Webpage speed, Search engine optimisation (SEO) and web compatibility. All of these features will make a website a website in other words the system and program will be more efficient dependent on these features and whether you use them or not.
